ANDREW KIM

Andrew Kim (aka "Andrew the Musical Inventor") is a multi-instrumentalist and inventor of incredibly unique instruments with over 40 years of experience studying music in India and around the world. After. touring global music festivals with the band Delhi 2 Dublin, he is now performing throughout Canada as a solo artist.

Wielding his various magical inventions (including the “Persian Tennis Racquet” and “Indian Banjo"), Andrew has the distinction or being the only person in the world to play these amazing instruments! He has performed throughout India, Bhutan, Nepal, China, and Thailand, appeared on a Raffi album, and has appeared onstage with artists such as Bif Naked, Michael Franti, and Arrested Development. He has also been the subject of 3 CBC documentaries.
Combining the sounds of the middle east and Africa with modern psychedelic influences, Andrew guides listeners on an other-worldly musical journey.
